Who these terms cover

These terms are an agreement between you and Aegis Designs LLC, a design, development, and marketing studio in Jupiter, FL 33458. They apply when you visit this website, read our pages, or send us a message through a form. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this covers, and what it does not

These terms govern the website itself: the pages you read, the forms you submit, and the free tools we publish, such as the growth scan. They are not the contract for a paid engagement.

When you hire us, the work is governed by a separate written proposal or statement of work that we both sign. That signed document controls the project, the deliverables, the schedule, and the fees. If anything in it conflicts with this page, the signed document wins for that engagement.

Using the site

You may read the site and use our forms for their intended purpose: to learn about our work and to reach us about a project. Do not try to break, overload, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorized access to the site or the systems behind it, and do not use it to send unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content. We may limit or block access if the site is being misused.

Our content and marks

The design, code, copy, graphics, and layout of this site belong to Aegis Designs or are used with permission. The Aegis Designs name and logo are our marks. You may view and share links to our pages, but you may not copy, republish, or reuse the content for your own commercial purposes without our written consent.

Client names, logos, and project results shown on the site are the property of those clients and appear with their permission. They are examples of our work, not an offer to use anyone else's brand.

What you send us

When you send a message or fill out a form, you keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to read it, respond to it, and use it to scope and run your project if it moves forward. Do not send confidential material you are not free to share, and do not send sensitive personal data through the forms. How we handle the information you send is covered in our privacy policy.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to sites we do not run, such as client sites, tools, or references. We link to them for convenience and do not control or endorse what is on them. Once you leave this site, the terms and privacy practices of the site you land on apply, not ours.

The site is provided as is

We work to keep the site accurate, current, and available, but we provide it on an as-is and as-available basis. The site may contain errors or go offline, and we make no warranties about it beyond what the law requires, whether express or implied. Nothing on the site is legal, financial, or professional advice, and results shown for past projects do not guarantee the same outcome for yours.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Aegis Designs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses that arise from your use of this website, such as lost profits or lost data. This section is about the website. It does not limit the responsibilities we take on in a signed proposal or statement of work for a paid engagement, which carries its own terms.

Some places do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here removes a right you have that cannot be waived under the law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about this website or these terms belongs in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you agree to that venue.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes. When we do, we update this page and the effective date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, that counts as accepting the updated terms.
